Our Story

Hi, I’m Sam Muniz. Woodland Ranch is more than just a venue—it’s where my story began and where my roots run deep. This land has profoundly shaped my life; it’s where I raised my first animals, from horses to cows, and where I spent countless hours exploring and playing with my brothers. It’s a place of endless childhood adventures and treasured family moments. I watched my mom tend to her garden, her love for the land as nurturing as her care for us. My dad taught me the art of working with my hands, a skill that has shaped who I am today. This land is where I celebrated my own wedding and where my cousins and brother have shared their significant moments. It’s a place imbued with memories and magic, and it’s this special essence that I’m thrilled to share with others. We’re committed to making every event as memorable and unique as the stories that have shaped us. We’re here to turn your vision into a beautiful reality at Woodland Ranch.

Our Inspiration

There would be no Woodland Ranch without my mom, Kathy Muniz. Kathy was a kind and passionate women who left her colorful spirit on everything she touched. It was first her dream to turn Woodland Ranch into a place that other people could enjoy, often stating that “If HGTV saw my garden and decorating I’m sure they would give me a show!” Her style of ranch-shabby-chic as she called it, is still carried on and seen today in our venue. Her memory and legacy is carried on with every event that is held here, if you look closely many of her personal effects (decorations, pots, ideas.) can be seen. Thank you for creating new memories here in a place that she loved.
